I scored 486 on the Miller Analogies Test, which I have been told corresponds to an I.Q. of 151 or 152 and is shared by 1 out of every 3,300 to 3,400 people out of the general population. I am either a current or past member of various high-I.Q. societies such as Mensa, Intertel, the Triple Nine Society, the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry, etc. Unfortunately I never found my niche in life and I have always worked at unskilled blue-collar and clerical jobs - currently I am a Mailroom Clerk in a large office building, where I also assist on the loading dock and in the warehouse. I am a classical example of a high-I.Q. underachiever. At age 62 it's doubtful that I'll climb much higher than where I am now, so my intellect has mostly been wasted. Unfortunately, also, I never had children because my life has been so uncertain and low-income, and my parents raised me to be too responsible to create children under such precarious conditions; therefore as it stands now my high-I.Q. and responsible genetic heritage will probably die with me rather than being passed on to future generations (along with my unusual physical strength and athleticism - two days ago, for example, I went out and ran 2-and-a-half miles after not having run in many months, and not having run regularly in 21 years, and I felt no stiffness or pain in my legs afterwards, nor the next day or today). So here I am, hoping to find - what exactly? I'm not sure yet, but I have a good feeling about being here. I am glad and honored to be among you.
